The Umidigi Power 5 was announced on June 07, 2021, and released the same day. This smartphone is the successor to the Umidigi Power 3 released in October 2019.

This smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G25 and the PowerVR8320 GPU. It has a 6.53-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, an IPS display, and a dew-drop notch above it.

The model comes with an option of 3GB or 4GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage. On the back, there are three camera modules, while on the front, there is a single selfie camera. The rear camera packs a 16MP wide camera, 8MP ultrawide camera, and 5MP macro depth sensor.
