The Tecno Camon 17P was officially announced alongside the Camon 17 and 17 Pro on April 27, 2021. This device is one of Tecno Mobile’s newest smartphones and it is a new device in this series.

The phone comes with a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels, 500nits brightness, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 395ppi density. The phone comes with a very bright screen but did not feature a 90Hz refresh rate as some other variant in this series.

The Camon 17P is powered by the same processor in other variants of this series. The clock frequency is 2.0 GHz, with a Mali-G52 GPU. Packed in the device is 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage, which can be expanded to 512 GB using a Micro SD card.

In terms of cameras, the new Camon 17P features a quad-camera set up at the rear, including a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a fourth dedicated AI lens. The front of the device features a single punch hole camera with a 16MP sensor.

The phone is dual-SIM compatible, supports 4G VoLTE, and is fueled by a 5000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging.
