The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 was officially announced on March 04, 2021, and released on March 12, 2021. This smartphone is the successor of the X Cover 4 released almost four years ago. This smartphone comes with a lot of upgrade over its predecessor and still retain its ruggedness and durability.

This rugged device is designed for the mobile workforce especially those that work in the field and travels a lot. The smartphone features the Exynos 850 chipset with octa-core Cortex-A55 at 2.0Hz and Mali-G52 GPU.

The smartphone packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. The device runs on Samsung’s One UI 2.0 user interface based on the Android 11 operating system.

This smartphone is a compact device with 5.3 inches PLS IPS display with 720 x 1480 pixels resolution, 18.5:9 aspect ratio, and 311ppi pixel density.

The phone packs a 5-megapixel selfie camera in the top bezels of the screen and a single 16MP rear camera. Fueling this smartphone is a 3000mAh Li-ion battery with 15W fast charging. The phone comes in only black color.
