The Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro was officially announced alongside the Poco F3 on March 22, 2021. This smartphone is a bigger version of the vanilla Poco X3. The look of this device is very similar to the Poco X3 having the same camera module with the camera and the LED lined up in an X formation. But this new device comes with a more powerful chipset.
At the front, you’ve got 6.67 inches IPS LCD display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a single punch hole camera with 20MP sensor. The display resolution also features 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10, 20:9 aspect ratio and 395ppi pixel density. Protecting the screen is the corning gorilla glass 6.
The phone is powered by snapdragon 860 chipset with the same Octa-core processor and GPU of the Poco X3. The device runs on Android 11 operating system and MIUI 12 for Poco. The phone packs 6GB or 8GB of RAMs and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
The camera of this phone is somehow a downgrade. It spots 48MP main camera with f/1.8 lens sensor, 8MP ultrawide with 119-degree view, 2MP depth and macro sensor with f/2.4 lens.
This smartphone is fueled with a 5,160mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The phone shares the same battery with the Poco X3 NFC instead of the 6,000mAh battery in the vanilla version.
The Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro starting price is around NGN 112,350 in Nigeria, which is equivalent to GHS 1,700 in Ghana and KSH 32,460 in Kenya.

Chipset Chipsetis a group of integrated circuits designed to perform one or a more dedicated functions, often with real time computing constraints, Popular smartphones are equipped with more advanced embedded chipsets that can do many different tasks depending on their programming. | Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 |
CPU CPU => (Central Processing Unit) mostly known as processors, CPU processes instructions in order to carry out certain functions that make your device operate properly. Processors are often described as the brain of computers, smartphones and tablets. Smartphones and tablets rely on processors to carry out their every task, Processors are an incredibly important factor in selecting any type of computing device, including your smartphone. | Octa-core (1x2.96 GHz Kryo 485 Gold & 3x2.42 GHz Kryo 485 Gold & 4x1.78 GHz Kryo 485 Silver) |
GPU GPU => A graphics processing unit (GPU) is a specialized electronic circuit designed to rapidly manipulate and alter memory to accelerate the creation of images in a frame buffer intended for output to a display device. This include things such as lighting effects, object transformation and 3D motion. | Adreno 640 |
RAM RAM (Random Access Memory) is a type of computer memory that can be accessed randomly, any byte of memory can be accessed without touching the preceding bytes that allows information to be stored and accessed quickly from random locations. RAM is the most common type of memory found in computer systems, smartphones, tablets and other electronic devices. | 6GB / 8GB RAM |
